Since its inception in 2009, GRS Commodities Ltd has contributed towards the promotion and use of sustainable renewable energy in rural off grid areas in Uganda through implementation the above projects. In 2013 GRS Commodities received the United Nations Seed Award in recognition for its contribution towards environmental protection, innovation in entrepreneurship and social development.
